My Bikini Workout for Summer 2010

It took a while, but finally I found a perfect workout for desired shape: tight butt and tonned arms, legs and chest, a workout which will make me proud to walk on a beach without feeling ashamed of my body. A workout that will make me feel sexy and confident.

It's as easy as 1,2,3:)
I start with a quick worm-up and a little stretching. And then I do 3 sets of 20 repetitions of following exercises:
1) Lateral shoulder raises
2) Reverse flys
3) Alternating forward lunges combo’d with bicep curls
Then I walk a little or step or run or jogg on a tredmil (basicaly any cardio will do), letting my muscles relax for couple of minutes and then I do 3 sets of 30 reps of following:
1) Chest presses
2) Squats combo’d with shoulder presses
3) Tricep dips
Relax again and  do 1 set of 20 repetitions of:
1) Bicycle crunches
2) Reverse crunches
3) Plank hold x 30 seconds
And that's it. It takes about 30 minutes and you don't have to do this everyday. 3 times a week is enough. Let the muscles rest but keep taking proteins and drinking water. This way you will give your muscles time to grow.
For more effective training I'd suggest using dumbbells for arm exercises. If you don't have any, use bottles of water. They'll do the job.
It takes discipline and it isn't easy to be consistent but it's worth the effort. Once you will see the effects you will be glad you didn't give up. I started doing it last week and already can see that my muscles are thighter and my belly is more flat and starts getting a pretty shape. Of course I still have a long way to go, but seeing my body transform in front of my eyes gives me more energy and makes me happy to do all that workout.
If you have any questions or suggestions, let me know.

Body workout

I decided to start my body workout now to get in shape for this summer. I need to loose the fat I built up during christmas.
Last summer wasn't so great in UK and I wasn't able to use my new O'neill bikin. But this year I'm planning to visit one of the mediterranean countries so I want to look great on the beach. Basically I want a tight butt and tonned legs and arms and of course chest. First of all we need to find a workout the will us and what we want to achieve. Then think of a good diet. By "diet" I don't mean "eat less" or "no fat". Our muscles won't grow without the good fat. So what is "good fat"? Well, the good fats are:
  • monosaturated fats lower total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol (the bad cholesterol) while increasing HDL cholesterol (the good cholesterol), and we can find them in nuts and olive oil
  • polysaturated fats also lower total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol and we can find them in seafood and fish oil
The bad fats are saturated fats and these we want to aviod. They are very high in cholesterol which can cause heart diseases. They can be found in french fries, microwave popcorn, packaged food and snacks.
I will just eat more foods that are rich in proteins and carbohydrates.Your digestive system converts the carbohydrates in food into glucose which gives us very important energy while we workout.
Other very important element of our diet is water. Our muscles need proteins and water to grow. Take your weight and multiply by 0.60 and you will get the amount of water your body should get during the day.
For example with my body weight of 123 lb I should grink 44.28oz which is 1309.5ml of water a day.

Now I need to find effective exercises that will tighten by butt, lift and tonne my arms, legs and chest.
I will let you know when I work out my new routine.
Maybe you know of some great exercises that could help me achieve a bikini body?

Mochaccino eyes

Today I tried wormer make-up for a change. It's so pretty I had to share it with you. It reminds me of a worm mochaccino on cold winter evenings:)
I used 3 eyeshadows:
Phloof! by MAC swept across the lid
Chocolate Chic by Maybelline in the crease
Sable by MAC in the outer corner of the eye.
And this is how it looks:

Today's Frosty make-up

It’s so beautiful outside! Snow is everywhere so today I decided to try new winter look. You can try it yourself no matter if you’re blonde or brunette or a redhead. It’s simple and will take you only 5 minutes of your time.
The perfect foundation for a winter make-up for me is MaxFactor Lasting Performence in Fair. If your skin is darker, try to use the lightest shade you can pull off.
Concealer is very important step because you want your face to look pure without any blemishes. So apply your concealer under your eye and on the lid, around your nose and on this parts of your face you’re most concern about.
If I use a very fair foundation, I apply it also on my lips instead of a concealer. Than I use Pretty Please lipstick by MAC for the frosty finish and it looks very define when you apply it on your lips with a fair foundation.
Next I move on to eyes. For this look you will need only one eyeshadow. I think the best for this part is Crystal Avalanche by MAC. It’s a beautiful pearly white.
For my eyelashes I use MaxFactor False Lashe Efect mascara. I don’t use any eyeliner for this look, but I apply couple of layers of my mascara.
The last step is blush: Pink Rose by Rimmel.
A little tip: this time try applying the blush under your cheek bone. It looks really pretty and it makes a huge difference.
The fragrance I think matches this look perfectly is Love by Body Shop.
That’s it! Now you are all ready to go and enjoy the snow.
